Bulk Biochar – Wakefield Biochar Soil Conditioner
High Island’s BioCarbon Minerals (BCMs) are a biproduct of our unique heat-treatment process. By using renewable, biomass fuels, we are able to take waste products and up-cycle them to become useful soil amendments.
BCMs are carbonaceous material which has multiple benefits to soil and plant health. These benefits include increased soil aeration, water retention, and nutrient retention capabilities.
Wood Pellet BCMs contain much higher amounts of carbon. These BCMs will also increase your soil’s ability to hold water and retain nutrients.
High Island’s BCMs contain between 40-50% carbon.
